The Clinical Diabetes Educator will work alongside the Outpatient Clinic Nurse Manager while implementing educational programs. The Certified Diabetes Educator will work with Registered Nurses and Board Certified Providers on care plans for patients diagnosed with Diabetes. The Diabetes Educator will lead a variety of group classes as well as provide one on one coaching. The Clinical Diabetes Educator will function as a educational resource throughout the clinic and provde valuable insight about diabetes management, including helping patients with their nutrition and medication. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience diabetes education and should have their certification in Diabetes Education (CDCES) completed.
