The Clinical Manager of Microbiology Laboratory will directly report to the Clinical Director of Microbiology Laboratory. This individual must provide any pressing updates regarding the status of the laboratory to their superior and will be expected to work together with this individual to guarantee all rules and regulations are being followed. Serving as a direct leader to the Clinical Assistant Manager of Microbiology Laboratory, the Clinical Manager of Microbiology Laboratory must be readily available to provide their assistance and guidance during any pressing and / or critical situation. The Clinical Manager of Microbiology Laboratory will serve as a mentor to the various Clinical Supervisors of Microbiology and Microbiology Laboratory Technicians and must be set the tone of a cohesive and united department that’s main focus to provide excellent care for the hospital’s patients.
The Clinical Manager of Microbiology Laboratory will be expected to help manage and provide direct oversight to the microbiology laboratory department while their team performs various clinical assessments. Equipped with cutting-edge technology within their laboratory, the Clinical Manager of Microbiology Laboratory will be required to be well-versed in any and all clinical equipment utilized within their department.
