Job Summary
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing staff development in the medical surgical oncology department. This includes identifying areas for improvement, implementing evidence-based practices, and evaluating the effectiveness of unit-specific education programs.
In this role, you will work closely with the nurse director of education and nursing director of medical surgical to optimize the clinical leadership model. You will also collaborate with hospitalists, oncologists, and case managers to maximize patient outcomes.
