This well-known, respected, awarded hospital in the Greater Atlanta area is actively looking for a Clinical Nursing Director Med Surg Telemetry to direct the management of a fantastic clinical medical surgical telemetry nursing team while ensuring optimum patient care. Reporting to an Administrative Director Medical Surgical who has nearly 20 years of tenure with this organization, the Clinical Nursing Director Med Surg Telemetry will be responsible for providing leadership in the procedural and strategic services for the 30 bed unit, along with developing and implementing appropriate policies necessary for the unit’s success.
With the support of a strong clinical team, the Nursing Director Med Surg Telemetry will also work closely with a Med Surg Telemetry Clinical Nurse Specialist who centers on quality maintenance and perpetually growing clinical education within the unit. They would also have the support of both Med Surg Charge RNs and a Telemetry Assistant Nurse Manager. As this facility is on their Magnet journey, the Clinical RN Director Med Surg Telemetry will have the opportunity to assist in this growth while simultaneously advancing their experience and career. In addition to directing all aspects of management within the unit, the Telemetry Clinical Nursing Director Med Surg will use selected nursing practice theory as a framework to coordinate patient care while providing theory-based nursing practice information in complex or unusual patient care situations. The Clinical Nursing Director Telemetry Med Surg will also be responsible for supporting clinical research to improve performance within the clinical service line. They will also be in charge of directing the allocation of resources through planning, budgeting, and analyzing statistical data and reports.
