A 250 bed hospital, seeks an experienced Clinical Social Work Supervisor to join their team. Serving a culturally diverse community, this hospital offers a range of services, including a Bariatric Surgical Service, Ambulatory Care Center, Women’s Health Center, Wound Care Center, and Chemical Dependence Unit. Our full-service pharmacy caters to discharged, emergency department, clinic patients, and employees.
As a Clinical Social Work Supervisor, you will oversee Open Chart Reviews, conduct new employee orientations, provide ongoing staff training, and reorientation as needed. You will act as a resource for Social Workers, assist in case escalation, and participate in departmental performance improvement activities, presenting at hospital-wide Performance Improvement Meetings. This role reports to the Director of Case Management and Social Work.
What will make you stand out?
- Master's Degree in Social Work from an accredited university.
- NYS license to practice as a Social Worker (LMSW / LCSW), with LCSW preferred.
- Minimum of three years of hospital experience preferred.
- Prior supervisory experience preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to instruct and provide orientation.
- Flexibility to work collaboratively with other hospital professionals.
