The Lab Operations Director will be key in the continuance of High-Quality Care throughout the Laboratory Department. The Director of Dietary will report to the Director of Hospital Operations and will be well-supported by Nutrition managers, Dietary Staff members including Clinical Dieticians, Food Services Techs, and Hospital Cooks. The Director of Dietary will ensure policies and procedures are being followed to ensure sanitation and safety measures are being followed as well as quality improvement, and infection control.
The Director of Dietary will oversee the management and operations for all of the Nutritional Services Department. The Director of Dietary is responsible for the planning of menus in accordance with the recommendations of the dietary staff and the departmental standards. The Director of Dietary will lead the dietary team members by ensuring standards are being met while developing and evaluating staff for quality of service, accountability, and safety.
The Director of Dietary will be responsible for hiring staff, scheduling, performance management as well as managing the retail businesses including cafeteria, catering, and physician dining.
