Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and direction to the labor delivery department, ensuring the delivery of safe and evidence-based care to expectant mothers and newborns
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement policies, procedures, and protocols for the labor delivery unit
- Monitor and evaluate patient outcomes, implement quality improvement initiatives, and promote a culture of continuous learning
- Foster a supportive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork, professional growth, and development among staff
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with physicians, staff, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration

Qualifications:
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree
- Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas ( or willingness to obtain ) 
- Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in Labor and Delivery
- Previous leadership or management experience in a healthcare setting
- Strong knowledge of labor and delivery practices, regulations, and quality standards
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
