A leading acute-care hospital located in central Vermont is now searching for an experienced Disaster and Emergency Preparedness Manager to join their accredited healthcare team.

Reporting to the Director Security and Emergency Management, the Manager is responsible for the overall planning, strategic direction, and evaluation of all Emergency Preparedness and Disaster Management programs. Other responsibilities include oversight of fiscal budgets, collaborates with local communities, offers staff education, works infection control and employee health teams, and participates in the Environment of Care committee.
What’s Needed to Succeed:
- Bachelor’s degree in Emergency Management, Public Safety, Disaster Operations, or related field
- Certified in disaster, hazardous materials decontamination, or ICS/HICS
- Prior working experience is a plus!
