The Physical Therapist will be responsible for the overall management, including direct patient care, of the assigned patients. The Physical Therapist will evaluate and provide therapeutic services specific to the patient's unique population, experiencing disorders involving pain, immobility and loss of function.
The Physical Therapist will utilize massage, exercise, water, heat, cold, ultrasound and electricity. Treats all types of patients including orthopedic, neurological, medical, and surgical, in acute, chronic, preventative and/or rehabilitative stages.
The Physical Therapist will provide care that is directed at rehabilitation to maximum potential as well as promotion of independence and adaptation to disability. The Physical Therapist will perform skilled services in an interdisciplinary environment with occupational therapists, speech pathologists, nurses, physicians, and other health care providers.
The Physical Therapist will plan, organize, and provide all patient care services to deliver the highest quality of health care. The Physical Therapist's responsibilities will include coordination of the interdisciplinary team that carries out the plan of care, and insuring effective management of visit utilization and expenses.
