The Hospital Senior Director IT Systems should have extensive leadership experience in the management and support of Healthcare Information Technology and Systems, as well as direct management of major IS operations, ideally within an acute care hospital or health system setting. The Hospital Senior Director IT Systems will also have exposure to both shared and outsourced solutions, as well as support of in-house information and communication systems in a multi-site client-server environment.
The Hospital Senior Director IT will develop and execute Information Technology strategies that support the overall objectives of the hospital while providing leadership and direction to the IT team, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement. They will oversee the management, maintenance, and optimization of all IT systems, including electronic health records (EHR), network infrastructure, and cybersecurity measures. They will be responsible for ensuring system reliability, security, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
