Medical Surgical Nurse

A well-established hospital in Eastern Montana is actively searching for a Medical Surgical Nurse to join their team.

This full-service community medical center has been serving patients for over 100 years. Their campus includes 24-hour emergency care, full medical and surgical services, and an Extended Care facility.

The Medical Surgical Nurse will report to the Manager of the Medical Surgical and Step Down Units. There will be multiple Charge Nurses who are able to provide assistance with any issues that arise. The Med Surg RN will have the opportunity to provide direct and indirect patient care in the acute care setting.

The Medical Surgical Nurse will be a part of a rewarding department. This nurse will have the opportunity to formulate a care plan based on identified needs and facilitate interventions and referrals as appropriate. They will also be able to effectively communicate identified needs and care plans with the multidisciplinary care team including providers, pharmacists, dieticians, social workers, case managers, and more. The Med Surg RN will also evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and adjust the care plan accordingly.
