Reporting to the Chief Nursing Officer, the Birth Center Nurse Director will have clinical and administrative oversight for this active Labor and Delivery department with 40 beds. The Nurse Director of Maternal Child Health will lead a dedicated team of over 70 staff including Nurse Managers, Nurse Coordinators, Registered Nurses, and other support staff. In this comprehensive role, the Birth Center Nurse Director will lead Strategic Growth, Fiscal Stability, Staffing needs, Professional Development efforts, and Regulatory Compliance for the department. The Nurse Director of Maternal Child Health will use their professional and clinical expertise in concert to be a mentor and change agent for this growing service line.
