The RN Director of Perioperative Services will join an established Community Health Center that has been providing top quality care to Montana residents for the last 100 years. This recognized surgical services department specializes in oncology, gynecology, urology and podiatry while spearheading development to acquire more specialties, providing the RN Director of Perioperative Services with ample opportunities for growth.
Reporting to the Chief Nursing Officer, the Nurse Director of Surgical Services will oversee the entire Surgical Services Department including pre and post operative care of patients, ambulatory center, same day surgery and recovery. Working in collaboration with other nursing leaders, the RN Director of Perioperative Services will develop standards of care and oversee a team of highly talented RN’s.
The Director will join a fast paced unit, accommodating a wide range of specialties such as general surgery, gastroenterology and anesthesiology. Alongside exceptional MD’s and tenured RN’s the Nurse Director will champion their colleagues and implement procedures to continuously highlight staff.
The Nurse Director of Perioperative Services will be responsible for the implementation of policies to maintain quality patient care in all aspects. This individual will also be in charge of managing safety initiatives and strong team building skills to work across sectors and unify staff. The Director will also lead the departmental budgeting process, including development, monitoring operating expenses, and allocating resources for labor and quality improvement initiatives. This Nurse Director of Surgical Services will have the opportunity to work in a Joint Commission Accredited Hospital with a tight-knit team of healthcare leaders.
