As the Nurse Director for the Postpartum unit, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the daily operations and clinical supervision of the nursing staff. You will collaborate closely with the ACNO to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care that meets all regulatory standards and incorporates evidence-based practices. Your leadership will be critical in fostering a supportive and efficient environment for both patients and staff.

Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the delivery of quality patient care that aligns with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
- Supervise and support the nursing staff, providing clinical guidance and administrative oversight.
- Coordinate performance improvement activities and utilize appropriate benchmarks.
- Prepare and analyze data for clinical activities and regulatory compliance.
- Manage admissions and discharges to ensure effective clinical management and discharge planning.
- Maintain operational leadership and ensure all departmental goals are met.
- Provide administrative coverage and support for the Nursing Department as necessary.
What you will want to succeed:
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master’s degree in Nursing preferred.
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in TX or willingness to obtain one.
- Ideally have five (5) years of acute care hospital experience.
- Ideally have three (3) years of experience in a leadership role.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
