The Nurse Manager of Cardiology and EP Lab will be responsible for the twenty-four hour planning, organizing, directing and controlling of the daily operations and clinical practice of the Cardiology and Cath Lab departments. The Nurse Manager of Heart Vascular Institute Service Line will report directly to the Associate Chief Nursing Executive and will be supported by Assistant Nurse Managers and 80 skillful staff nurses.
The Nurse Manager of Cardiovascular and Cath Lab will manage the team in order to provide quality individualized patient care to patients ranging from neonate to geriatric on the age continuum and support of the Medical Center’s Mission, Strategic Plan, and Goals and Objectives.
The Cardiology and Interventional Radiology IR Nurse Manager will assume fiscal responsibility for the unit budgets, serves as a liaison with medical staff and other personnel, promotes the maximum growth and development of each employee, supports nursing research and assures patient advocacy.
