The Nurse Medical Surgical Telemetry will report to the Nurse Manager of the Med Surg Tele Unit. You will collaborate closely with physicians, other nurses, and healthcare staff to deliver coordinated and effective care to our patients.
The Med Surg Tele Unit is a critical area within our facility, specializing in the care of patients with medical and surgical conditions who require close monitoring and management. This unit is equipped with advanced telemetry monitoring systems to ensure real-time patient observation and intervention. Our team is committed to providing compassionate and high-quality care to patients with diverse needs.
In this role, you will be responsible for assessing and monitoring patients’ conditions, administering medications and treatments, and providing patient education and support. You will work closely with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans, document patient care accurately, and ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures. Additionally, you will be expected to respond to patient needs promptly, maintain a safe and clean environment, and participate in ongoing professional development.
Candidates should possess an RN license. Strong clinical skills, including proficiency in telemetry monitoring, are essential.
