With over 35-beds, the skilled nursing department utilizes many clinical programs including physical therapy and short term rehabilitation to offer its patients top notch care. The Nursing Director of Skilled Nursing will be a vital member of the leadership team to ensure this department continues to provide the community with the highest quality of care. The Nursing Director of Skilled Nursing must be regularly informed regarding the clinical practices being administered from their team, and must be able to highlight their team’s strengths, and pinpoint any weaknesses to provide the necessary training to address any matter.
The Nursing Director of Skilled Nursing will be responsible for the overall supervision and operation of the department. The Nursing Director of Skilled Nursing will oversee staffing levels, conduct the hiring and coordination of onboarding for new staff members, and oversee training and evaluations of current staff members.
