About the Role

• Reporting directly to the Chief Nursing Officer, the Nurse Director of Acute Care Services will lead a dynamic team and busy MedSurg and Critical Care department with over 60 FTEs in a facility with more than 100 beds.
• The successful candidate will oversee clinical care provided in the Med Surg department, ensuring that staff are up-to-date with current best practices and follow hospital guidelines.
• Collaboration with the CNO and other hospital managers is essential to achieve operational and clinical efficiency aligned with hospital standards and values.
• Budgeting and financial management are key responsibilities, ensuring that established budgets are sufficient and adhered to.
• The Nurse Director of Acute Care Services will also have opportunities to develop staff through education and quality improvement initiatives.
