Reporting to the Director of Education, the Operating Room Nurse Educator will lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive clinical education program within the surgical service line. The Nurse Educator will work with the perioperative nursing leadership teams to ensure educational and training coverage for the pre-admission, operating room, and post-operative care teams. Other responsibilities include program development and management, analyses of staff competencies, communicating with multiple care teams, and promoting evidence based practices. This department currently operates 5 state-of-the-art operating rooms.
What’s Needed to Succeed:
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing BSN
- Registered Nurse RN license in the state of Vermont
- Expert knowledge of surgical nursing and educational program development
