This small acute care hospital promotes wellness and improving the lives of the people in their community. They offer general surgery, critical care, primary care, OB, 24 hours emergency care are some of the many services offered. The OR Nurse will provide operating room nursing care in three surgical suites providing major surgeries, endoscopy, and dental surgeries.
The Operating Room Staff Nurse RN will be responsible for the delivery of effective and efficient patient care while upholding the hospital’s quality standards. The Operating Room Staff Nurse RN will provide treatment and care for patients before, during, or after surgery within various surgical procedures. The Operating Room Staff Nurse RN should possess strong adaptability and critical thinking skills, and at least one year of perioperative experience. The Surgery Nurse will also be cross trained in the PACU and work in both units as needed.
The Operating Room Registered Nurse reports to the Nurse Manager of the Operating Room. The OR Staff RN will work Monday - Friday, 8 hour day shifts with rotating call.
