The center has four operating rooms and sees both general and specialized surgeries. The Operating Room RN will enjoy working in a supportive environment with over 35 dedicated full-time employees. The Operating Room RN will work closely with the Director of Surgical Services, Registered Nurses, Surgical Technicians, and Radiology Technicians.
The Operating Room RN will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and comfort of patients undergoing surgical procedures. They will provide top-notch care before, during, and after surgery. The Operating Room RN will monitor patient vitals and levels through the surgical process, assist surgeons during operations, provide support as needed, and educate patients and families on post-operative care and recovery. This OR Nurse will also work closely with the Clinical Team to participate in quality improvement initiatives and staff training as well as adhere to all infection control protocols and maintenance of the unit. Candidates with prior scrubbing and circulating experience will earn quick interviews!
