The OR Nursing Director reports directly to the Chief Nursing Officer and leads a team of 24 FTEs, including OR, PACU, ACU, and Sterile Processing staff. This role works closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and clinical leaders to ensure seamless operations and the highest standards of patient safety.
The surgical services department features 5 main ORs plus an additional OR in the Family Birth Center, handling a steady volume of cases in a fast-paced yet supportive environment. The OR Nursing Director will collaborate with skilled physicians, dedicated techs, and a tight-knit nursing team focused on delivering exceptional perioperative care.
The OR Nursing Director will drive clinical quality through staff development, policy implementation, and safety initiatives. On the administrative side, this role manages budgeting, resource allocation, and day-to-day operations while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
