Reporting to the Director of Professional Development and Nursing Education, the PACU Nurse Educator is responsible for cross collaborating with the Perioperative Services Nursing leaders to oversee all new hire orientation, new hire education, and continuous education for the surgical services department. The PACU Nurse Educator will update policy procedures, ensure regulatory compliance, and be an overall resource to their team. Ideally, the RN Educator PACU will hold their Bachelors degree with their active Registered Nurse RN license and a recent clinical background working in a Post Anesthesia Care Unit.
