Operating Room Surgery Clinical Nurse Educator

As a key member of the Perioperative Services team, the Clinical Nurse Specialist CNS will collaborate with the Nurse Director of Surgical Services and Director of Clinical Education to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Implement staff orientation and education in the Operating Room, Pre-Op, PACU, Endoscopy, Children's Surgery, and Sterile Processing departments
- Promote excellence in nursing as a resource and role model for Perioperative staff members
- Apply advanced practice competencies to diverse patient care populations and environments within the Surgery service line
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate strategies to maintain excellence in patient care through direct observation and participation
- Collaborate with the healthcare team on quality improvement projects to enhance patient outcomes
