A leading critical access hospital located in northern New Hampshire is now seeking an experienced Regional Medical Director Bedside Ultrasound Program to join their award-winning healthcare team.
This full-service critical access hospital boasts 25 inpatient beds and offers personalized medical, surgical, and intensive care services. This location also offers various other inpatient and outpatient services including cardiovascular, rehabilitation, oncology care, and diagnostic services.
Reporting to system leadership, the Regional Medical Director will lead the strategic development and operation of the Bedside Ultrasound Program across three hospital locations. Responsibilities include :
- Working with hospital leadership to establish bedside ultrasound protocols.
- Coordinating training programs for physician and nursing staff.
- Maintaining current knowledge of the latest ultrasound advancements.
- Developing quality control initiatives.
- Providing support for complex bedside ultrasound cases.
- Developing a standardized credentialing program for all non-radiology and radiology providers.
- Collaborating with IT and Medical Record teams.
