A well-established hospital in Portland, OR is actively interviewing for a Remote Healthcare Actuary Manager. The candidate is required to currently reside in Washington, Oregon, or California.

The Remote Healthcare Actuary Manager will oversee the actuarial analytics for the health plan and is responsible for producing pricing, forecasting, and reserving deliverables. The Manager will coach & set priorities for direct reports and function as a technical resource and as a mentor to Actuarial Analysts in the Actuarial department. The Actuary manager will also build and maintain relationships with other leaders across the organization including Product, Finance, Underwriting, Regulatory, Pharmacy, and outside the organization.
A qualified candidate will have the following :
Currently reside in Washington, Oregon, or California
Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Social Science or related field; Master’s degree preferred
Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA) designation and / or Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) designation
7 years of healthcare actuarial analytics experience working with Medicare Advantage pricing and bid development; experience working with Commercial Pricing or Valuation preferred
