Reporting directly to the Chief Nursing Officer CNO and Assistant Chief Nursing Officer ACNO, the Med Surg Nurse Director will manage oversight and operations for a 42-bed medical surgical unit with a total of nearly 60 FTEs comprising of Nurse Managers, Clinical Nurse Coordinators, RNs, LPNs, and PCTs. The Med/Surg Unit RN Director will serve as an integral member of the leadership team, participating in hospital-wide operations and serving a key role in developing and implementing nursing policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and fostering a positive work environment for nursing staff.
The hospital team is seeking an experienced Medical Surgical Nurse Leader who comes prepared with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree BSN, along with proven supervisory or management experience within the acute care setting.
