An award-winning hospital is seeking a Surgical Services Nurse Educator to provide education to their multiple operating rooms. This is a full-time, permanent role in a fast-paced environment with an innovative team who’s primarily goal is to provide the best medical care possible to their patients.

With nearly 120 beds, this prestigious hospital is fully equipped with cutting-edge technology to administer individualized care for any patient who walks through their hospital’s doors, no matter how complex the medical need may be.
Reporting directly to the Surgical Services Nurse Manager, the Surgical Services Nurse Educator must provide daily updates regarding the status of educational courses being presented to the clinical department to their superior and will be expected to collaborate with the Surgical Services Nurse Manager to ensure all rules and regulations are being followed. Serving as a clinical instructor to the Surgical Services Nurses, the Surgical Services Nurse Educator must be readily available to provide their assistance and guidance during any pressing and/or critical situation.
The Surgical Services Nurse Educator must be a strong communicator who regularly informed regarding the care being administered within the various operating rooms, and must be able to highlight their team’s strengths, and pinpoint any weaknesses and provide the necessary training to address any matter. The Surgical Services Nurse Educator will be expected to educate and provide clinical insight to the entire operating room clinical staff including but not limited to nurses, scrub technicians, and RNFAs. This hospital is equipped with cutting-edge technology within the entire hospital, the Surgical Services Nurse Educator will be required to be well-versed in any and all medical equipment utilized within their department and hospital as needed.
