The Surgical Technologist will report directly to the Operating Room Nurse Manager. Supported by a team of technicians and RN’s, this person will join a fantastic hospital in their surgical department, seeing over 100 procedures per month, as well as have the opportunity to grow in their skills and career. The ideal candidate will be Certified in Surgical Technology.
The Surgical Technologist will be diligent in performing the primary role of assisting surgeons during procedures, assuring that necessary supplies, instruments, and equipment are ready and available and anticipate needs . This role also requires serving as clinical mentor to others. In addition, the Surgical Technologist will be able to establish and maintain interpersonal relationships with patients, visitors and other hospital personnel . Most importantly, the Surgical Technologist will be responsible for ensuring clinical excellence, patient safety and positive clinical outcomes .
