Reporting to the CNO, the Women’s and Children’s Nurse Director will oversee operations and ensure excellence in patient care. Supported by an experienced team including Labor and Delivery Charge Nurses and Postpartum RNs, the Nurse Director will foster seamless operations and uphold high standards of care.
As the Women’s and Children’s Nurse Director, you will oversee a 6-bed unit with approximately 200 deliveries annually. Leading a dedicated and educated team of 13 full-time employees, you will manage both the operational and fiscal aspects of the unit, while fostering a collaborative and supportive environment. This Women’s and Children’s Services department is renowned for providing exceptional care and a wide range of services tailored to patient health.
The Women’s and Children’s Nurse Director will oversee patient care in the labor and delivery unit, ensuring that all nursing staff are proficient in labor and delivery procedures. Acting as a liaison between patients, families, and healthcare providers, the Nurse Director will also report on departmental performance and actively participate in multidisciplinary meetings.
