Exciting news! Fall of 2024, the Wichita Pharmacy will be expanding, and we are looking for amazing, ambitious, goal-oriented Pharmacy Technicians CPhT to join our Clinical Solutions Team!

Clinical Solutions Pharmacy Kansas is a closed-door pharmacy that opened in Fall 2023 and ships out 13,000 prescriptions a day. The pharmacy operation for production has specifically been the daily method, utilizing the Unit Dose packager machines. Beginning Fall 2024, the pharmacy is expanding their production and launching additional departments including specials, bulk, LCA, and prepack.

The Kansas pharmacy hours are Monday through Friday 9am to 6pm. If you enjoy working in a closed-door pharmacy setting and being on a small team of Pharmacy Technicians CPhT, we encourage you to apply!

Open Position: Pharmacy Technician, CPhT.

Location: 4615 N Cypress Street, Suite 150, Wichita, Kansas 67226.

Pharmacy Hours: Monday through Friday 9am to 6pm.

Competitive pay: Starting at $20/hourly.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Pharmacy Technician license in Kansas.
• Ability to work independently and as a team.
• Prefer Certified Pharmacy Technician, CPhT.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Prefer 1 years' experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
• Excellent organizational skills, interpersonal skills and is detail oriented.
• Ability to perform tasks accurately and efficiently when inputting information.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment criminal and drug screening process.
• Ability to meet deadlines, be flexible, and open to new processes or procedures.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to organize and prioritize to maintain productivity.
• Ability to maintain composure on the phone when handling calls from customers or vendors.
• Possess the ability and initiative to plan for and complete daily activities with minimal direction.

General Duties:

• Perform all tasks in a timely and economical manner.
• Follow all applicable government regulations, including HIPAA.
• Assist other technicians by working with them to achieve daily production requirements.
• Follow all policies and procedures in the Clinical Solutions Employee Handbook, Safety Manual, and Fulfillment Procedures.
• Assist in shipping with packing orders in boxes, processing shipping labels, and verifying all totes were sent out at the end of the day.
• Keep workstation area organized and ensure the area is free from any safety hazards at the end of shift.
• Responsible for maintaining Quality Standards to ensure specifications and codes are met.
• Complete special projects and other duties as assigned by the Pharmacy Manager.

Bulk Duties:

• Fill and perform quality check on bulk medication orders as they arrive throughout the day to ensure drug name, strength, and quantity match the prescription label.
• Review product for damage and ensure expiration date is appropriate for dispense.
• Identify products that are not deemed 100% compliant to be given to pharmacist for review.

Fridge Duties:

• Fill medication orders as they arrive throughout the day.
• Package the medication orders in coolers to be prepared to be shipped.
• Identify fridge medications that are not deemed 100% compliant to be given to pharmacist for review.

LCA & Prepack Duties:

• Fill prepack medication orders on picklist as they arrive throughout the day.
• Review cards closely to identify double drops, broken tablets, and contamination.
• Perform quality check on medication orders to ensure drug name, strength, quantity, and expiration date match the prescription label.
• Identify cards that are not deemed 100% compliant to be given to pharmacist for review.
• Perform LCA equipment setup, operation, adjustment, and minor preventative maintenance task.

Specials Duties:

• Fill medication orders as they arrive throughout the day.
• Fill release medication orders and complete the special fulfillment process.
• Fill blister cards as needed to ensure sufficient inventory and place them inside a clear bin.
• Identify medications that are not deemed 100% compliant to be given to pharmacist for review.

Unit Dose Duties:

• Fill unit dose prescription medication orders.
• Continuously run the Unit Dose Packager machine.
• Fill the canisters and trays with medications in the Unit Dose machine.
• Identify Unit Dose packaged medication orders that are not deemed 100% compliant to be given to pharmacist for review.
• Perform Unit Dose equipment setup, operation, adjustment, and minor preventative maintenance task.

Language Skills:

Must be able to express self adequately in written and oral English communication and to communicate effectively with customers, employees and vendors.

Physical Demands:

• Able to reach, carry, finger, grasp and feel objects related to duties.
• Must be able to bend, stoop, lift, stir, walk and stand for extended periods throughout the workday.
• The employee is required to exert up to 40 pounds of force occasionally and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force frequently to lift/move objects.
