Position: Part-Time Licensed Pharmacy Technician
Shift Schedule:
- Monday - Thursday 4:30 pm – 9:30 pm
Competitive Compensation: Starting at $20/hourly non-certified, $21 / hourly (certified).

Minimum Qualifications:
· Strong attention to detail.
· High School Diploma or equivalent.
· Tennessee Pharmacy Technician License.
· Prefer Certified Pharmacy Technician CPhT.
. One year of Pharmacy Technician experience.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and be flexible.
· Strong attention to detail, ability to organize and prioritize to maintain productivity.
· Possess the ability and initiative to plan for and complete daily activities with minimal direction.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment while meeting production standards.
· Must be able to pass criminal and drug screening process.
Specials Duties Include:
· Fill medication orders as they arrive throughout the day.
· Fill release medication orders and complete the special fulfillment process.
· Fill blister cards as needed to ensure sufficient inventory and place them inside a clear bin.
· Identify medications that are not deemed 100% compliant to be given to pharmacist for review.
· Follow all applicable government regulations, including HIPAA.
· Perform other duties as assigned by Senior Production Manager.
· Maintain a clean and organized work environment free from hazards.
LCA Duties Include:
· Fill prepack medication orders on picklist as they arrive throughout the day.
· Review cards closely to identify double drops, broken tablets, and contamination.
· Perform LCA equipment setup, operation, adjustment, and minor preventative maintenance task.
· Identify medications that are not deemed 100% compliant to be given to pharmacist for review.
· Perform quality check on medication orders to ensure drug name, strength, quantity, and expiration date match the prescription label.
· Follow all applicable government regulations, including HIPAA.
· Perform other duties as assigned by Senior Production Manager.
· Maintain a clean and organized work environment free from hazards.
Language Skills:
Must be able to express self adequately in written and oral English communication and to communicate effectively with customers, employees, and vendors.
Physical Demands:
The physical demands described here represent those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
· Must be able to bend, stoop, lift, stir, walk, and stand for extended periods throughout the workday.
· The employee is required to exert up to 40 pounds of force occasionally and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force frequently to lift/move objects.
· Able to reach, carry, finger, grasp and feel objects related to duties.
