Childcare Worker, FRC

Description

CSO is looking for a Childcare Worker to join our team at the Family Resource Center (FRC.) 

The Family Resource Center (FRC) is a community based, family focused program that supports parents, caregivers, and their children from birth to 18 years old. The FRC provides linkages to community resources to help with basic needs, family support, therapeutic services and resources.  We provide a holistic array of activities for families that include support groups for caregivers, playgroups, evidenced based parenting groups, school support, as well as arts, cultural, and recreational activities. 

CSO offers Training in: Trauma informed care, Motivational Interviewing, Cultural Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, Mindfulness Skills and more. 

This position will provide support and assistance with set up for child care events. and developing programing during child care time. Helping with clean up after events.   

As a Childcare Worker: 

You Will: 

• Provide support and assistance with set up for childcare events 

• Develop programming during child care time 

• Help with clean up after events 

• Some food preparation

Qualifications

Your Background: 

• Minimum high school diploma or GED and two years of experience working with children, adolescents or transition age youth  

• Computer proficiency required  

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
