ClinIntell is a Tampa-based severity-reporting data analytics company with a rapidly expanding customer base of acute-care hospital clients across the United States. 

We are the only clinical documentation improvement (CDI) software analytics firm in the industry that has the “expected” value for severity reporting. The “expected” value comes from our proprietary algorithms that had been in development for close to a decade. 

ClinIntell is hiring an Account Executive to support its growth and the product’s success in the marketplace. 

The key to delivering more value to our clients is through innovation driven by as large of a majority of employees as possible. The large established companies in the CDI industry have a poor track record of innovation and client success management, and success going forward will require hiring exceptional individuals with the potential to succeed in an entrepreneurial, demanding, and rewarding environment. 

At the highest level, ClinIntell is:

  • Entrepreneurial: Be a mini-CEO with how they invest their time in the short and long term in order enable our current and future clients to realize more value from our product. Exhibits an extreme ownership mentality like an entrepreneur working on their own business, and always taking the initiative to look for ways to innovate and differentiate 
  • Adaptability: Many employees may need to adapt and shape their role based on how they can best contribute. Does not avoid difficult challenges that are the most attractive from a value creation perspective, but rather takes them on and develops and learns the right skills without being prompted 
  • Self-awareness: Find ways to complement the strengths and weaknesses of others and identify their own. Enables open and sincere communication for feedback and when friction or misunderstanding arises. It is all about the collective result and if feedback is given with this purpose, it can be used to improve in the future and not get in the way of healthy working relationships. Always doing what is right for the business and our clients 
  • Team orientation: Satisfaction from enabling the success of others and winning together. Really caring about creating value for current and future clients and helping colleagues can be motivating when “no one is looking”

The Account Executive will oversee clients from the beginning of engagement, maintain client relationships throughout the engagement, and adhere to a reliable client focused approach to aiding clients to improved sustainable inpatient severity capture through physician documentation. The person in this position will learn the ClinIntell metrics, understand why ClinIntell uses this approach, and will work with clients to benefit from having clinically expected values. There will be requirements to work fully throughout the client life cycle. The successful candidate will work with ClinIntell’s sales team and clients during the sales process. Continuing into the implementation post sale and contact for continued client engagement throughout the life cycle of the client’s use of ClinIntell’s application. 

The position will exercise strong project management skills managing the client throughout the life cycle of the engagement along with the ability to lead meetings discussing the nuances of the importance of severity capture to the C-Suite of a health system or hospital, physicians, finance, clinical documentation and quality professionals. 
The Account Executive will collaborate with clients and ClinIntell developers to assess risks, coordinate mitigation efforts, respond to client IT tickets, and manage shared concerns. They will also assess the current state of the application and based on client feedback they will work with the development team on possible updates to the application. The candidate will participate not only in the client side, but also internally with the development team on specific issues pertaining to prioritizing work efforts, testing, providing details for enhancements or changes to the application. 
The Account Executive will also work with Marketing and Sales to provide feedback, consistent client communication, client renewals.  

Accountabilities: 
  • Provide the sale team with assistance with potential client calls / meetings  
  • Define and build out implementation plans with clients 
  • Manage and maintain ongoing contact with clients by implementing ClinIntell’s playbook. 
  • Lead client calls with the client’s C-Suite down to an individual provider. 
  • Manage client questions / concerns 
  • Manage client training, client financial outcomes, application client specific maintenance 
  • Assist the development team with providing necessary information for application updates 
  • Assist Marketing with content 
  • Assist Sales with contract renewals 
  • Provide necessary “ad hoc” reports specific to client requests 
Education and Experience 
  • Undergraduate degree 
  • Experience with client services (healthcare preferred, but not a requirement) 
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities 
  • Ability to balance client and individual responsibilities; ability to influence and get things done through others not directly reporting to you 
  • Knowledge and understanding of building successful client relationships 
  • Experience in healthcare with a focus on physician documentation (preferred, but not a requirement)
