Position Summary
This role oversees a team of Case Managers in our Community Support Services (CSS). Responsibilities include supervising, coaching, and managing the team, implementing improvements, monitoring operational efficiency, handling daily problem-solving, and performing administrative duties for the CSS case management team. The Social Worker Supervisor is involved in both short and long-term planning to effectively direct departmental activities through subordinate management staff.
Job Duties
- Ensure compliance for both one-self and reporting employees.
- Provide leadership in program management, decision-making, problem-solving, and the development of unit procedures and records.
- Manage employee performance, including training and conflict resolution.
- Foster an ethical, non-discriminatory, and safe work environment.
- Approve timesheets and ensure proper scheduling, including time-off requests.
- Evaluate performance and assist in the development of goals and objectives for staff.
- Adhere to agency policies and procedures, as well as the Agency/NASW Code of Ethics.
Requirements
- Must have LSW, LCSW, or LPC license in the state of New Jersey
- Minimum 1 year of experience supervisory experience
