Summary
This is a skilled position responsible for the repair, calibration, and maintenance of various biomedical technologies, devices, instruments, and systems.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Repair, install, maintain, calibrate, and inspect a wide range of therapeutic and diagnostic biomedical instrumentation and equipment in a timely manner to minimize downtime.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance inspections and electrical safety testing on equipment, devices, and systems.
- Detect and correct system and equipment malfunctions.
- Provide exceptional customer service and control costs within established guidelines.
- Maintain professional conduct at all times and adhere to company policies and procedures as well as government regulations.
- Develop and present solution options to supervisors on critical issues and provide technical assistance and instruction on equipment operation and maintenance.
Additional Responsibilities
- Complete all required paperwork accurately and on time.
- Maintain company-issued equipment and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Assume additional responsibility as directed by the supervisor and maintain expected productivity according to productivity and billing requirements.
