We’re looking for a highly motivated and adaptable Histologist to join our small but driven team in Kannapolis, NC. As an early-stage startup, every team member is critical to our success. In this hands-on role, you’ll play a key part in meeting client deadlines, navigating the challenges of scaling production, and contributing to groundbreaking innovations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare human skin tissue for culture and assist with histology tasks such as sectioning, wax block, embedding, staining, etc.
• Set up and maintain laboratory equipment and glassware.
• Collect tissue from local surgeons, following rigorous protocols.
• Work from standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure quality and compliance.
• Perform general lab duties and contribute to operational improvements.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid NC Driver’s License.

Preferred Qualifications:

• A degree in biology, chemistry, engineering, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience with histology techniques such as section wax block.
• Mechanical or engineering skills that can be applied to laboratory work.
