Job Summary :
The Principal Investigator (PI) will oversee and execute clinical trials in the fields of Central Nervous System (CNS) and Psychiatry, ensuring compliance with Good Clinical Practices (GCP) and maintaining the integrity of the data generated. The PI will work collaboratively with a team of 8 site staff to manage study protocols, ensure participant safety, and fulfill sponsor requirements. This position is offered on a 1099 contractor basis, with flexibility regarding compensation.
Key Responsibilities :
- Oversee and conduct clinical trials, ensuring adherence to protocol and GCP guidelines.
- Perform psychiatric evaluations, physical assessments, and clinical rounds as required.
- Manage and document Adverse Events and Serious Adverse Events.
- Review and assess laboratory results, ECGs, and study data.
- Supervise and delegate duties to site staff while ensuring proper training and compliance with study requirements.
- Complete all required study documentation, including FDA Form 1572 and protocol-specific reports.
- Collaborate with sponsors, IRBs, and regulatory personnel to ensure study progress and compliance.
- Provide oversight for subject recruitment, screening, and enrollment processes.
