Summary:
The Clinton County Conservation District (CCCD) is dedicated to conserving, promoting, and enhancing natural resources. It operates within a national regulatory framework and encompasses a diverse program portfolio. These programs include providing technical support to rural agriculture, enhancing watershed stewardship and wetlands, and enforcing regulatory measures such as PA Chapter 91, 102, 105, and Act 38 Acts to safeguard soil and water quality.
As the primary administrator, the District Manager oversees all day-to-day activities of CCCD programs, including public relations and communications. They serve as a liaison between the County Commissioners, District Board, cooperating agencies, landowners, municipal officials, legislators, and the public. Additionally, the District Manager holds ex-officio membership on all District standing committees
