REPORTS TO: Building principal or supervisor as assigned
CLASSIFICATION: Certified
FLSA STATUS: Exempt
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Salary and work year as reviewed and established annually by the Board of Education
EVALUATION: Performance of this position will be evaluated regularly in accordance with the Board’s policy on the evaluation of certified staff.
JOB SUMMARY: Departmentalized role teaching exclusively to 5th and 6th grade students in the Middle School building. Requires certification in elementary or 5-8 in a content area. The role focuses on facilitating student learning and development of subject matter knowledge and skills necessary for their growth into responsible individuals. The job description will serve as a guideline for the summative evaluation report.
