Overview
We are looking for an Administrative Assistant who is ready to immerse themselves in the glass industry,
someone who wants to be a part of projects big and small, who can take a project from initial lead to
completion and payment. This person will also act as a project manager to take sales from customers,
assemble price quotes, prepare bids, submit proposals, and manage installation/delivery projects
Responsibilities
Get familiarized with all types of glass options and hardware solutions to turn customer's requests into a
reality
Handle company-wide customer communications via office phone, email, and face-to-face
Handle client and vendor communication
Process order from initial customer contact to project completion & payment
Show customer glass samples, educate them, and help them make a selection of hardware (physical or
catalog image)
Examine shop drawings and construction drawings
Prepare bids and submit proposals
Process and track orders for customer pickup
Send and track orders from 3rd party vendors
Communicate status of 3rd party vendors to co-workers and customers
Generate price quotes for materials and labor
Schedule appointments for measurements and installations/deliveries
Procure materials & hardware
File and send out Purchase Orders
Resolve and reconcile parking tickets
Light personal tasks as required
Requirements
Excellent customer service skills

Understand mathematical reasoning
Computer/software skills
Drafting
Excellent Excel skills in addition to working knowledge of MS Office
Be comfortable with learning the basic features of Google Earth, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop
Ability to research Google Maps directions for technicians
Punctual
Sense of humor is a must
