Job Summary:
The Compliance Specialist is responsible for ensuring that the medical staff maintain current contracts, credentials, and licenses. Furthermore, this position collaborates with providers and organizations to maintain accurate and current records on practitioners.
Essential Functions:
• Performs FMV assessments and prepares contracts for both new and established providers.
• Monitors provider licensure requirements and collaborates with providers to ensure completion
as necessary.
• Facilitates the credentialing of providers for insurance payors.
• Acts as the sole point of contact for gathering paperwork to distribute to the relevant entities.
• Guides the physician through the paperwork required for the onboarding process.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities/Expectations:
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of medical credentialing and privileging procedures and standards.
• Knowledge of fair market value (FMV) and provider contracts.
• Approximate percentage of time required to travel: 0%
• Must read, write and speak fluent English.
• Must have good and regular attendance.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

• Required: High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience:
• Required: 2 years of credentialing experience with medical staff.
• Strongly Preferred: 5 years of credentialing experience with medical staff.
