Patient Access Registrar Part Time
Under the direction of the Patient Access Registrar is responsible for accurate and timely patient registration including medical necessity and insurance eligibility. This position will provide accurate patient financial estimates and will collect upfront patient financial responsibilities. The representative will ensure testing orders are correct and present at the time of registration. This position will perform the duties of PBX Operator.

Qualifications
Education:
· High school graduate or equivalent. Medical terminology, knowledge of testing procedures desirable. Prefer previous registration experience in physician office or hospital setting.
Experience:
• Prefer previous registration experience in physician office or hospital setting. Data entry skills emphasizing accuracy. Must be able to handle multiple tasks with differing levels of priority. Excellent customer service and phone skills with the ability to communicate in a courteous and professional manner with patients, visitors, ancillary departments and physicians/physician offices.
