QUALIFICATIONS
CT Certification (015) English, 4-12
- Possesses a strong understanding of and commitment to implementing the Science of Reading, including explicit and systematic instruction in phonological awareness, phonics, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension.
- Has experience in designing and delivering engaging and differentiated ELA instruction aligned with grade-level standards.
- Demonstrates expertise in fostering a student-centered learning environment that promotes critical thinking, collaboration, and creativity.
- Is proficient in utilizing a variety of assessment methods to monitor student progress and inform instruction.
- Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Is eager to contribute to a positive and supportive school culture.
- Experience teaching middle school students is preferred.
