Aircraft Line Technician

Under the Supervision of the Operations Manager, The Line Service Tech will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks in support of all operations. Such activities include but are not limited to: cleaning flight school and charter aircraft, maintain hanger cleanliness, assist aircraft tenants and customers, and other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

None.

Position Description:

• Ensure all flight school and charter aircraft are fueled as needed per the schedule.

• Clean all flight school and charter aircraft when available.

• Maintain cleanliness of X, F1, F2, F3 and F4 hangars.

• Keep all golf carts and tugs charged and fueled as needed.

• Go on parts runs as directed by the Manager.

• Move and stage aircraft on arrival to keep the ramp clear.

• Keep track of funds on fuel card and advise admin when needed.

• Assist with cleaning and moving customer aircraft as directed by the Manager.

• Assist with advising maintenance when aircraft return with issues.

• Restock charter aircraft prior to flights as directed.

• Assist aircraft tenants and customers professionally on arrival and departure.

• Ensure aircraft are properly stocked after/before each flight.

• Communicate with manager when stock is low.

• Assist in additional tasks assigned as needed by company staff.

Qualifications:

• Excellent listening skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Excellent organizational and time management skills

• Ability to multi-task and/or adjust to rapidly changing business needs

• Proficient computer skills

Education:

• High School Diploma Required

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods sitting/standing at a desk and working on a computer

• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.

• Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time

• Proficient use of hand tools preferred (Cleaning tools, breaking down boxes, etc.)
