JOB SUMMARY
The inside sales person will work with commercial accounts. The person in this position will work inside the call center office with limited field sales calls.
KEY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
- Use all channels of communication in an effort to grow a base of customers 5%
- Prospect new business 25%
- Upsell current business 25%
- Renew expired business by reaching out within 6 weeks from the last contact and provide new product offers 25%
- Develop business relationships with customers to establish yourself as a trusted business partner. 5%
- Review current customer results and make appropriate recommendations for more effective marketing 5%
- Document contacts with customer in either CTG or Salesforce 5%
- Communicate credit policies and payment procedures with customers 5%
EDUCATION
- Associate's Degree (Preferred)
- In lieu of the above education requirements, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
EXPERIENCE
- 3 - 5 years Inside B2B Sales Experience (Preferred)
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
- Experienced and skilled prospector and cold caller who knows how to get to the decision maker
- Consultative sales approach
EQUIPMENT/SOFTWARE UTILIZED
- Proficient in Word, Outlook, and Excel
COMMUNICATION AND CONTACTS
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to potential and existing customers. Must have strong phone skills.
