Position Overview
Clipper seeks enthusiastic, upbeat individuals who share our passion and love of the Pacific Northwest and want to join our talented team of Onboard Cruise Attendants aboard the Victoria Clipper. This position offers a fun, rewarding and challenging job, working on the water, and meeting new friends! Your primary job will involve high interaction with passengers, food service and tour sales, and being an all-around great host to our guests onboard the boat. Enjoy the beautiful destination of Victoria, British Columbia! We are located downtown Seattle at Pier 69 on the waterfront.
This is a full-time, year-round position with benefits.
Also, a great opportunity for student seasonal work, willing to commit to 3 months.
Key Responsibilities for Cruise Attendant
- Provide exceptional customer service onboard while creating amazing memories for our guests
- Sell Clipper products while underway: food, beverage, sightseeing tours, gift shop and duty free.
- Use Point of Sales system
- Luggage handling
- Vessel cleaning and maintenance
Key Requirements
- Must possess a US Passport; or a Passport with ability to exit/enter the USA and Canada
- Legal entry into Canada is required
- Must pass a required Pre-Employment Drug Screen (including cannabis) and pass random USCG drug screens – paid for by Clipper
- Complete a USCG Basic Safety Training course – paid for by Clipper
- Complete a USCG Medical Fitness exam - paid for by Clipper
Other Requirements
- Strong interpersonal skills; ability to stay calm under pressure
- A desire to be a great host to your guests onboard, engaging, and personable
- Punctual; Reliable; Team Player; Strong Work Ethic
- Available to work any shift (10, 12-hour shifts), including weekends and holidays
- Experience in restaurant, hospitality, and customer service with emphasis in sales a plus
- Able to lift 70lbs
Compensation: $17.50/hour $10 or $25 Layover per diem commission tips (average earnings are $22 – 25/hour)

Schedule: typical work week is 10-12 hour shifts (plus a 3 hour Layover in Victoria);
