We have an excellent opportunity for a Retail Credit Analyst in our Mason, Ohio headquarters location.
In this position, the successful candidate will perform the following job responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain professional contact with CBPC Retail Accounts to ensure that open invoices are resolved in a timely manner.
- Submit monthly statements, in formats required, noting open invoices to Retail accounts for payment and follow-up on exceptions until resolved.
- Identify drivers / causes of invoices going unpaid so that corrective action may be taken to minimize or eliminate future occurrences.
- Minimize delinquencies and write-offs of Retail trade Accounts Receivable.
- Maintain Retail DSO’s in accordance with Departmental and Company goals.
- Maintain accurate credit files/records for all Retail Accounts.
- Obtain Proof-Of-Deliveries needed for payment from applicable Clopay locations in a timely manner.
- Complete daily Hold Order Report for Retail Accounts so that orders are released from credit hold in a timely manner.
- For Retail Co-Op orders, where authorization is required for payment, ensure that only authorized orders are released from credit hold and communicate denied orders to customers in accordance with departmental procedures.
- Enforce Earned/Unearned discounts in accordance with Departmental policy.
- For Home Depot and Menards, utilize web based Portal sites in obtaining payment status of unpaid invoices and handle accordingly.
- Maintain Excel Microsoft Access Database for Home Depot (USA & Canada) and Menards open / closed invoices.
- High School diploma or equivalent required. Higher level degree preferred.
- Experience in administering credit and collection activities preferred.
- Detail oriented.
- Good computer skills.
- Good communications skills.
