We have an excellent opportunity for a Powder Coat Sprayer (Painter/Machine Operator on 3rd shift (11:00pm - 7:00 a.m.) in our Mountaintop, PA facility
The Powder Coat Sprayer is responsible for successfully applying finish to product on the powder coat line and maintaining positive work relationships. This is a safety sensitive position.
- Make material pulls. Set booth dials to proper settings and use high power vacuum system to apply and evenly cover finish to all product.
- Set up and disassemble color booth parts. Properly maintain color booth, auto gray booth and spray room.
- Perform daily/weekly preventive maintenance.
- Keep current to changes to process instructions and initiate red-lines to perform operator work completion.
- Anticipate work requirements from work schedules and perform work in advance.
- Maintain clean, organized, and properly stocked levels of inventory. Mark discrepant materials.
- Seek solutions to resolve compliance issues and or safety concerns.
- Maintain positive customer, vendor, and coworker relationships.
- Cross training throughout the Production department by assisting in all areas to achieve CIW/TCCI goals.
- Other tasks assigned.
Job Requirements:
- Qualified candidates must possess a High School diploma, must be able lift up to 50 pounds, and have the ability to work at a quick pace.
- Previous experience working in a manufacturing facility.
- Understand, interpret and utilize blueprints / drawings
- Ability to use hand tools and read a tape measure with accuracy
- Computer knowledge
- Meet Safety, Production and Quality standards
