We are a growing company seeking to add a Frontload Driver – Class B CDL Driver to our team. It is a full time position with a 4-day a week work schedule.

Job Duties

• Safely drive and operate industry specialized trucks to collect trash/recycling dumpsters at commercial businesses, oftentimes in congested traffic, at approximately 100-150 locations per day
• Ensure accounts are serviced efficiently while leaving customer sites clean of debris
• Communicate customer needs and issues to office and sales department
• Perform daily inspection of vehicles and report any defects needing correction to shop foreman
• Clean out truck daily and wash truck weekly
• Operate electronic tablet for various purposes such as following GPS navigation on routes, recording driver notes, and taking pictures of overloaded or blocked containers

Physical Demands

• Must be able to operate the truck in all types of weather, in congested areas, and all traffic conditions
• Must be able to push/pull containers on wheels (weighing up to 1000 lbs)
• Must be able to bend to lift extra materials (weighing up to 90 lbs) into containers
• Must exit truck 25-35 times a day to open gates and load extra overflow materials into containers
• Shifts are usually 8-10 hours per day, 4 days per week

Required Experience & Abilities

• Must be able to pass DOT drug screen test
• Must have valid Class B driver’s license with clean driving record
• Meet company driving standards and comply with fleet safety policy
• Work independently in absence of supervision
• Communicate with all personnel and management using excellent verbal and written skills
• Past driving experience in the waste management industry is preferred but not required

Job Details

• 4-day work week
• 36-40 hours a week

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $27.00 - $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 – 40 per week
